The second time I tried to go home, Jim was on our porch holding a hockey stick, and all the blinds were drawn. I figured she told Jim that I’d been by, and he’d told her that it was wrong/weird/sick for her to talk to a bloodthirsty zombie, even if that zombie was her daughter.
