Freedoms Gate the First Hundred Years:: Battle for the New Heaven

All my life I had been told that when the world ended that all humans good and bad would be whisked off to some unknown paradise where we would be judged for ore perceived sins and for what ever reason there was for it the sinless would be sent back down here to build another paradise for our new gods. And I was shocked when happened nearly as they said it would. However when it was over we realized that even though they, the gods had taken the souls of over six billion humans they had left the shells of those they had taken for us survivors to get rid of!
