Love, Where to Find It?

We all look for love. We look for the person who will give us attention and kindness, who will look at us with a friendly smile anytime, day or night, a person who unexpectedly gives us a kiss for no reason or lovingly strokes our head despite what we've done. We want a person who will unconditionally accept us and whisper in our ear, "I love you." We accept the challenge of finding this person even when he is our parent or child. Into our search, we invest time, energy, thought, and dreamless nights. When we cannot find such a person, we suffer. When we have such a person but he is out of reach, we suffer. When he is in reach, habit, selfish needs and desires can lead us elsewhere.
