The Enemy Within: The 5th Column

A fifth column is a group of people within an organisation, who in secret seek to weaken and to destroy that organisation. With such individuals, despite they being a part of the organisation, also work for enemies of the organisation by disclosing vital information to help them. They can be friends, acquaintances, colleagues, partners, relatives, co-workers or employees. This group of individuals are never consistent and never contented but they may claim otherwise. With time, you will discover such people to be uncommitted, double-faced, double-tongued and very unreliable. The fifth columnist, though they may have pledged their loyalty to the organisation, will always seek for the opportunity to betray it and aid an external enemy to execute their plans.
