You always hear of people dealing with this dreaded disease and never stop to think it could happen to you.
People tend to look at the needs of the person who is suffering and concern themselves with the needs of this person, but no one really knows what is happening to the spouse of that person.
The other side of cancer is an account of what occurred during the period my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer until I laid her to rest. There are moments of sadness, moments of joy, moment where your faith is tested to such an extent that you almost lose it all, the people you meet and how ones faith is tested during this period. I went through it all and never lost faith in what I believed in.
