The First Particles in Universe: a Hypothesis

Imagine a world with only two substances: space and time. Can it exist?
With only these substances we "produce" particles travelling at light velocity and "heavier" particles that when decomposed produce null spaces that form more "heavy" particles. And with this cycle of forming and destroying space/time particles we produce a new, or not new, world.
