The King Of The Lagoon

This short story revolves around a young dish washer working at a boat club on a lagoon and a fat, arrogant, foulmouthed man who has given himself the title, "king of the Lagoon. There is little anyone can do about this man as he is the richest person in town and holds much influence. An awards ceremony will be held soon at the club and the self-proclaimed king is confident that he will win the lifetime achievement award. The young dish washer and his chef hope that the man who has given them so many problems will be denied the honor as he has done nothing to deserve it. They hope that there is still at some integrity in this seemingly corrupt organization.
