When their friend Dan strongbow goes missing after getting an appraisal on a lustrous string of pearls, the Dart boys go searching for answers to the mystery at his cabin in Danger Bay. The trip turns treacherous when they learn Strongbow’s cabin has been ransacked by ruthless people in search of something else—the missing gems. Shut out from working with the boys, who consider gumshoe work too dangerous for a girl, wannabe sleuths Molly Maplesweet and her friend Emelia work behind the scenes to help solve the case before the Dart boys meet the same fate as their indigenous friend.
