The Homecoming

Set in 1919 England, The Homecoming is a sensitive and moving testament to a period of great change and renewal in Europe. Striving to move on after the loss of their son and heir in the Great War, an aristocratic English family welcomes Beatrice into their home, a young French nurse who had married their son in France. She arrives in England for what will be a destined and life changing journey. The plot revolves around the complexities of Beatrice’s relationship with the family, her fears of their intentions for her son and her feelings for her dead husband’s cousin and best friend. Together, Beatrice and the family must confront their past, trusting in one another in order to change their respective futures.
