The Golden Path

After an afternoon of tedious and seemingly endless visits, Agnes and Charlotte were finally home. Their day had been made even more unpleasant because of the sweltering heat of summer. The stuffy carriage and the required formal dress had added to their discomfort. They didn't realize that their lives were about to change--and that the tedious visits would become a distant memory.
