No Place Like Home

Katie Thomas had been living all alone for 5 years in the big city of Chicago after graduating from college. She had become a self-assured, confident young woman after leaving trials and tragedies behind in her small hometown of Alton, Indiana. Her mother had pleaded with her to come home for an extended stay and she had finally decided to spend summer break there. Even though she wanted to spend time with her mother, she did not want to revisit the bitterness that she knew she would face when she returned to Alton. Little did she know, that her visit could quite possibly change her life forever. During her time in Alton, she would reconnect with God and the love of her life. Would she be able to find it in her heart to forgive others and God? Could she move beyond past tragedies and feel comfortable in Alton again?
