Prison of Thoughts

This is the first book in a series which is based on a girl who was raised with a form of domestic violence. As a result of that upbringing, she had very low self esteem and little to no confidence to speak up for herself. She believed she was a public joke because she didn't think she deserved anything better - who knows if she actually was. Holding it all in out of fear of rejection and humiliation, she found herself with a range of problems and had resigned to the fact that she would never become anything of value. It took one person to come into her life and change everything, maybe she was worth more after all. This is a series which aims to show people how easy it is to fall into a depression over nothing more than perception, and how very possible it is to overcome it with the right attitude.
