The Girl and the Knight: A Medieval Tale

Spring 1242. Pursued by his enemies after a defeat of his Order in Lake Peipus, one surviving Teuton Knight arrives wounded and semiconscious at a Mongol camp. A young woman takes care of him and heals his wounds. A love story begins to unfold in the nomadic settlement, but the unbeaten Russians are approaching and they are forced to flee in the harsh steppe winter trying to reach his homeland. The Girl and the Knight is a short romantic story.
