Shadow of the Fire

Kira is an ordinary, small town girl. Or, at least that's what she thinks she is. She lost her parents when she was a baby and was, until a few years ago, raised by her grandparents. When a fire burned their house to the ground and killed them in it, her best friend Nadia's parents took her in. As she just started college, found a job at a local bookstore and moved in with Nadia in a brand new apartment, a strange guy walks into the bookstore. His eyes are fire red and his hair color of blood. There is something mysterious about him that makes Kira feel immense pull towards him. When she meets him again in a night club and decides to come over to his place for a drink, little does she know that that night will change her life forever. He will change her life forever. Kira will learn secrets that the history books have left out. She will see the world hidden in shadows. And most important of all - She will find that she isn't as ordinary as she thought.
