His mother is dying, and Notan wishes to see his mother and say goodbye one last time before she passes away. But it’s been snowing for three days, and the snow is taller than he is. Besides the snow, the journey to his mother’s cabin is dangerous. Gonhara Kingdom is ruled by Kuskis, (part boar, part wolf, part human) who roam the kingdom, making trouble. And even if he could get through the snow, and avoid any Kuskis, his half-brother who hates him is waiting there. With a sigh, Notan gives up even trying. But Maruski has other ideas. Goodbye Gestat is a short story of twelve printed pages.
