Robert has an enviable life. He has a rewarding career, a house in the most desirable part of town and he’s happily married to Annabel the woman he met and fell in love with whilst at art school. Suddenly his world is plunged into turmoil when Annabel - the woman who has been his partner for twenty-two years is diagnosed with terminal cancer. When Annabel finally succumbs to the illness after a heartrending fight, Robert has to try to come to terms with life without his soul mate. In a desperate attempt to find love again Robert is persuaded to try internet dating and meets a beguiling young Polish woman - Magda who is fifteen years his junior and he becomes enchanted by her youth and sensuality. However their relationship falters causing him to continue his search. After a series of comedic dating episodes and sexual misadventures, Robert resigns himself to the fact that he may never find love again, until he encounters the beautiful and bewitching Angel. Angel – the kind of woman he had admired but always considered out of his league? Not only is she beautiful but she’s sophisticated; a high-flyer with a prestigious position in a large global company. She oozes glamour and sex appeal. But Angel has a dark secret? A secret that has laid waste to all her previous relationships. A torrid and tempestuous love affair begins which is further complicated by the return of Magda into Robert’s life. The love triangle threatens to tear each other apart? A trip to Egypt and the discovery of illicit text messages triggers a series of events which plunge all three lives into turmoil. A cascade of lies, deceit, infidelity and violence follows. An emotional tug of war which sees marriage plans being made and a wedding torpedoed at the eleventh hour! The aftermath sees Robert loose his home and begin the painful process of recovery and the eventual discovery of a new love amongst the wreckage.
