In "Hell's Flowers" the last remnant of humanity wanders through a ruined world and witnesses the beauty and horror of what they have done to the earth.
In "Birds of Paradise" Colonel Joaquin, a dance instructor hallucinates feverishly about his love affair with Mariana who has left him to return to her husband.
"The Hangman's Picnic" satirizes those wealthy and powerful men and women who think they run the world. Hitler and Dr. Frankenstein's monster make an appearance as do a variety of other monsters and conquerors. I threw everything I could think of into this one.
