Christmas on Wednesday

Everything in Beth Pennington’s world seems to stop when she receives an email reminder from her boss that Christmas is on Wednesday this year and that it is the only day that they have off from work. Since Beth has been with the company for less than six months, she has no vacation time and is 1,600 miles away from home.
