Refreshing Poems to Renew Your Mind in Christ Jesus: Poems to Build Up Your Faith

Dr. Joseph O. Olubadewo became a newborn baby in Christ Jesus at the age of 14 and has continued to grow in his personal relationship with the LORD. Completing his baccalaureate degree in Chemistry from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Nigeria, he proceeded on to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where he earned his Ph. D. degree in Pharmacology. Dr. Olubadewo returned to ABU and served at the Faculty of Pharmacy where he was until he returned to the USA at the University of cloumbia School of Medicine in 1980 and from there to UT Memphis, TN where he stayed until 1985. From there, he moved to Xavier University, College of Pharmacy in New Orleans where he continued his career ascendancy to full professor. After 20 years of service at Xavier, Dr. Olubadewo lost his position to the Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The goodness of the LORD led him to Southern University at New Orleans where he is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Biology. Serving the LORD has always been a central part of Dr. Olubadewo’s life. He is currently on the Boards of Deacon and Trustee at Suburban Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA. He is also in leadership service through the African Christian Fellowship (ACF), New Orleans Chapter as well as at regional and national levels. Dr. Olubadewo is currently the chairman of ODU Americas, Inc. a community-minded group focused on development of our Motherland of Oro Ago, Kwara State in Nigeria. The poems presented here are a fraction of what the LORD inspired me to write, and they are a manifestation of obedient response to the Indwelling Holy Spirit, to the glory of GOD.
