Janice M. Spangenburg, Ph.D is the co-author of this book and others as well as articles on organizational issues. Her favorite subjects include servant leadership, radical organizational change and human capital studies. This stems from her experience with downsizing and being a survivor herself. Dr. Spangenburg has had over 24 yearsâ experience with federal organizations and has been a consultant for a number of years. She holds memberships in several professional organizations centered on academic and her research interests. Today, in private practice, Dr. Spangenburg strives to provide exemplary consulting, teaching and mentoring to all levels of academia and business.

Laurie L. Barnes, MS, MBA, is the co-author of this book. She is currently a doctoral learner pursuing her Ph.D in management. Her favorite subjects include change management and employee motivation. She has over 15 yearsâ experience with human services and has the direct experience understanding the value of employee motivation. Today, Laurie consults and teaches undergraduate management and psychology courses.
