Our Story: Saga of a Hungarian-American Family

The story covers two hundred years of turbulent history and daily living. Among members of the clan were two poets in the 19th century (one a woman), two writers, a diplomat, a state minister, and a mathematician. One fought in the Hungarian Revolution of 1848. Many lived through World Wars I and II, the Nazi occupation of Hungary, the Communist takeover of Eastern Europe, and the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. Many still live in Hungary; others live with their families in America. Their personal stories bring alive the realities of life behind the headlines of history.
