Safiya Baksh Hosein is a graduate of the 'University of The West Indies'
[Trinidad and Tobago]. She specialized in the languages--French and Spanish
[B.A.General Honours] and taught these languages for many years in the
Secondary School System in Port-of-Spain,Trinidad. She also taught English.
She writes poetry in Spanish,English,French and Hindustani.She has very
recently published her fi rst book of Poetry--Spanish. This book of English
poems is her second publication.
