Latino Liturgy: Book One Fatal Flaws

A.J. Amador, a once-promising Latino columnist, returns to Denver to help a lifelong friend recover money missing from an upcoming civil rights conference. Along the way, a double homicide occurs, and, soon, A.J. (now working as a shadowy "cyber" detective) has just 48 hours to set things straight before the missing funds are exposed and his friend is arrested for complicity in the murders. Helping him is another childhood friend, Manolo Marquez, a mountain of a man who drives a cab. As A.J. works toward a solution, he must face old enemies from his street-beat days—including the Panamanian Midget, the man holding the missing funds. He must also confront his disgraced and disillusioned past—and the beautiful Connie Rivera, a woman he hurt and disappointed.
