Though Dr. Catherine O’Riley is thrilled to finish her four years of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and pass her final board exam, she finds herself stymied by one thing: her training didn’t address female sexual dysfunction, and she realizes it’s an important public health concern. She knows that only fifty percent of women are sexually satisfied. O’Riley wonders why doctors aren’t taking more interest in this subject that’s near to her heart.

She feels so strongly that her profession is more concerned with women being sexually available to men in order to have children than for the enjoyment of their sexuality that she turns down a solid job offer to conduct a clinical trial. O’Riley is determined to facilitate the understanding of the ever-enigmatic female orgasm to each and every deserving woman.

O’Riley believes there’s a conspiracy to negatively affect female sexuality—a conspiracy that favors the multi-billion dollar “female sexual dysfunction industry.” She’s about to go to court to support women’s sexuality.
