The High Priesthood of Being Gay

âThe High Priesthood of Being gayâ is a labor of love over 12 years in the writing. It included numerous, often exhausting, edits for accuracy and truthfulness. Itâs a bold attempt to separate out Being and Nothingness in what it is to be gay. Iâm indebted to Sartre, Freud, the heady book, âUp From Eden,â by Ken Wilbur, a mostly transcended often painful Christianity (with hints of the Bahaâi faith) and the observed behavior, mine included, of gay men.

Both sacred and profane, emotional and intellectual, it will expand the readerâs thought processes and I hope ennoble him at the same time. Thatâs by showing the latent high priest deeply enshrined within.
