Nana's Backyard Alphabet (PagePerfect NOOK Book)

The Nana and Me Series is based on the author’s five grandchildren and experiences they have shared together. As parents and grandparents we all can relate to those special moments when a child says or does something that is priceless. Nature provides the perfect backdrop for creating enthusiasm and learning. Each book in the series will provide a poetic, colorful look at children and their curiosity to explore the outdoors. Each book will also introduce a new character based on each of her grandchildren, while providing learning basics, in this case the alphabet. The anticipation of the first day of Kindergarten can be a bit overwhelming for children and parents.It is my hope that this book may provide an opportunity for parents to share the story and talk about Kindergarten in a positive way. The story not only provides a playful way to introduce the alphabet but also helps calm anxiety that the child may have about the first day of school.
