On March 29th, 1972 the North invaded South Vietnam even though they had promised that there would be no attempt to extend hostilities into the southern nation. A new date had been set for the North to return to the Peace talks and any acts of belligerence would certainly derail the effort. Bishop and Wilkins had found the American POW’s in the illegal camp and have decided to get them out. Unfortunately, their original plan had to be dropped because someone had intercepted the needed documents. So a new plan, one that came via Mai’s father helps them to complete the mission, but with a twist. Horst and Otto find out what happened to Werner and why he was missing. It’s a question of money laundering that has international consequences. Dmitri and his demonstration have been put together, but the Yugoslavian’s have put a wrinkle in the plan. The KGB has put Pogo in charge of a bomb disposal unit, and that’s a problem because Pogo isn’t an EOD man, and there are no records on the new LGB’s. Mai has learned of her father’s arrest and has been reassigned to the field hospital as a nurse in the Emergency room. She cannot make contact with him and she’s frustrated until Bishop and Wilkins show up with a load of wounded soldiers.
