A Sunny Day for Snails

Philip Russell is a naturalized Virginian, where he has lived since 1967. Having moved there after graduating from high school in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Married and father of three grown children. While Philip has written several poems, mostly to commemorate family events, it was on a visit to San Jose, California where his daughter and family lives that he was inspired to write this account for his grandson. There is another story waiting in the wings for his grand daughter. So stay tuned.
