Michael Anderson was born and raised in Taranaki, NewZealand and grew up surfing the local waves, skiing Mount Taranaki and playing guitar. Michael continues to live in Taranaki and is inspired by regular visits to the Southern Alps in the South Island where this story and song were conceived.
