Sketches In My Garden was written by Donna Lee Bowers over many years of gardening, happily adjusting to new conditions in several states. Wind Willow Farm is a twelve acre property in Jefferson County, Wisconsin but the Bowers family lived in Webster Groves, Missouri, Chicago, Illinois, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and now Cocoa Beach, Florida. Flowers have inspired the author to paint and teach in watercolor. She is a founding member of the Brevard Count Watercolor Society and member of the Transparent Watercolor Society. Her interest in writing and painting run side by side, color the unifying factor. She has written two novels and several childrenâ??s book. Donna Lee Bowers lives with her husband Richard with whom they have four children and twelve grandchildren.
