A testimony to the enduring power of art and the human spirit, For the People showcases one hundred and ten paintings by artist Ed Rath. Using his quirky language of parody, personal symbolism and allegory, Rathâs paintings create an edgy view of our contemporary world. Colorful, enigmatic images of gardens, dreams, imaginary places, and the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center segue into a group of images in which the artist contemplates his losses following the untimely death of his wife in 2005.
