Petethra's Secret is another good book by fourteen-year-old Reagan Roy and nine-year-old Madison Roy, author of books for young readers. Petethra's Secret is a short story. The Roys spend some time at the beginning of the book developing Petethra's character, which helps the reader empathize with Petethra's internal struggle of being different and dealing with sickle cell anemia.
