The Christian walk of faith is a journey full of joyous moments and mountaintop experiences as well as dangerous pitfalls and devastating detours.

"Misadventures and My Thoughts on God" provides glimpses into Laurin Von Krueger's spiritual journey and the lessons she has learned along the way about God's character and His steadfast love. When Laurin committed her life to God in high school, she was on fire and thought nothing could derail her faith. Yet, as the years went by her faith was shaken, and she became disenchanted with the religion of her youth. For a period of time she explored what the world had to offer, but that left her empty and drove her to re-establish a relationship with her heavenly Father.

As Laurin shares pieces of her personal story, she presents biblical truths about the character of God and uncovers the deceptions of the world in light of God's Word. By sharing her story she hopes to spare others the mistakes she made when she was younger and remind them that God is a God of second chances.
