The material might be considered offensive material. It’s a haunting experience, a totally horrifying encounter of sexual, mental, and physical abuse, occurring in the early stages of childhood, as well as adulthood. It was the time before established child abuse laws and before the public became aware of such disturbing, hidden family secrets. It was a time when innocent children were forced to live and deal with terrible conditions on a day-to-day basis and were forced to live in a pure hell of mental and physical abuse. It was a time when others looked the other way and preferred to look at such abuse as a private family matter.
