When Teenagers Quilt

Marcie Carlotto has problems. Her little brother, Rico Jr., is a huge, unreasonable bully who terrorizes everyone around him. Marcie's parents are super busy restaurant owners who aren't around to be parents to their children. Then there is the fact that she is thirty pounds overweight. And, finally there is Patrick Mason, the tall, gorgeous guy Marcie has been in love with since fourth grade. How will she ever get him notice her? After all, he is the most popular guy in school.

But Marcie has a few aces up her sleeve,  namely her four best friends: Mellissa, a tough teen who watches the backs of everyone in the group; Kevin, a scary smart "A" student; Kelli, the resident girlie-girl who is always a fashion statement in amd of herself, but lags behind in the brains department; and Todd, Marcie's best, best friend who is always there for her with his perpetual smile. When the five friends decide to take a quilting class together at school, they have no idea how muvh it will affect  and change their lives, bringing them even closer that they were before.
