One’s qualification enables a person to secure a job, but it is his or her skills that would nourish his or her worth in the organization.Embracing Work Readiness in Teaching Language Arts was written for the purpose of helping teachers equip their students with the ability to operate in the English language and at the same time prepare their students for workplace life. This book is targeted at teachers who teach third to fourth year high school students and in the preuniversity level. This book provides lesson plans, activities, and worksheets that are carefully constructed to link work readiness skills and English language teaching. There are also pieces of advice shared in this book that the author has drawn from her personal experiences. This book incorporates activities on the macro skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) and micro skills (grammar and vocabulary) of the English language.
