The Trusting Heart

Jo is a tough-talking, big-hearted social worker with a chip on her shoulder. She longs for romance and some excitement in her life, but is not prepared for the drama that unfolds. Accused of murder, Jo takes her dogs and races to find safety for them all beyond the clutches of a jealous ex-boyfriend, who is a well-respected police detective. What ensues is one terrified young woman depending upon her wits as she runs from police and the FBI. Her belief in God and in caring deeply for others, Jo is faced with giving up all she has ever known, just to stay alive.
