From waking dream to reality is a book about living with mental illness. It tells about the way in and out of psychosis, and how Petter Nilsen got well from his disease. It includes a psychologist, a psychiatric nurse, his parents and a friend. It focuses on different topics related to mental health problems. Petter has been hospitalized 3 times, and got the diagnosis paranoid schizophrenia. In this book he tells about his experiences, and focuses on his way to recovery. The book has different approaches from the other persons that have written in the book.
