A Country Boy On the Camino

"A Country Boy On The Camino," reveals my journey of preparing, partaking, and reflection of walking the Camino de Santiago in 2012. The book describes my emotional state while working in orthopedic surgery, yet yearning for a life changing adventure. Within three months I resigned from a profession and left on my pilgrimage. Throughout my pilgrimage, I met individuals from around the world in a similar search. Each day was a new experience. As I walked, I experienced joy, love, discomfort, charity, and a buen Camino. The book is written based on my daily journal. It is a glimpse of my thoughts and emotions. The Way of St. James is special for everyone, "A Country Boy On The Camino," is my experience. I hope it allows memories for one's who have walked it already, reassurance for those currently on the path, and inspiration to future pilgrims.
