Toby Finds Something Special

In this delightful story, Toby realizes that even though he looks different he is still Special. He discovers friends who also look different, yet enjoy playing with him. This enables children to realize they are Special, just the way they are. The five senses of: see, hear, feel, smell and taste are presented as Toby meets his special friends while going for a very slow walk in the bright warm sunshine.
Questions are asked throughout the story to encourage children to actively respond and participate while listening to this truly heartwarming interactive story. This is also a cumulative story where children can anticipate and say the expected words of repeating phrases. Another phrase is added as he meets each new friend along the way. There are also some suggestions for how a child can say these phrases and playa toy instrument as they listen to the story.
