Leon Wolf Fainstadt. B. June 5, 1945 in the wastelands of Siberia to parents that were slave laborers. Escaped and traveled with the victorious American Army across Europe and settled in Paris, France. Immigrated to the United States on the USS Gen. Blatchford in late 1950 and passed through Ellis Island. Leon began creating art when he was 10. His art is both abstract and exact.
