Wild and Wonderful: (in Winnipeg)

Discovering what animals can do in relation to human activities, is important to a child’s sense of self. In this book, we look at 8 different animals (and one make believe animal). Specifically referenced to the Province and the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, this book will help youngsters relate to where they (or the adults in their lives) live or visit. Where is Winnipeg? What is there? It is all part of global world we live in and our basic need to understand how we fit in. This is not a passive read aloud story. It is meant to be interactive between children and adults, to encourage curiosity and eventually, understanding.
