Heather & Avery and the Magic Kite

Heather & Avery and the Magic Kite is about two young cousins who want to fly kites, but there is only one in the garage. Since they both want the kite, they grab it at the same time and this propels them into a field under a stormy sky where they meet Benjamin Franklin flying his kite. While in Philadelphia the cousins learn about electrified air and experiments with lightening. When Avery says to just turn on the light “for electricity”, the cousins find themselves back in their garage with their kite. There is a time line of Ben Franklin at the end of the book.
