In Children of the Thirties, Lyn Thompson shares happy days and learning experiences still vivid from memories of her childhood with her brothers, parents, and neighbourhood friends.

The stories may be about children, but they are adult stories in style and message-the message of how the parents struggled to make the lives of their children happy and the children happily accepted life because their friends had the same frugal rules.

Lyn Thompson is a life member of the Writers' Guild of Alberta and has published six books.
