The Last Cannon Shot: A Study of French-Canadian Nationalism 1837-1850

Dropped into the foothills of the Pyrenees to help organize the French resistance, the protagonist is soon caught up in a trio of romantic entanglements. By the time he is summoned to Switzerland for a debriefing, he is married with a child on the way.

He makes his way across Vichy France to Lyon. The resistance helps him cross into Switzerland where he reunites with Flying Officers Moyle and Wilson. Together, they hunt down and kill a Nazi spy master.

The threesome travel together into now occupied France where they must rebuild three World I vintage planes in order to join the Free French in Morocco.
