Many of us have wished we could have presented ourselves in a more elegant, loving, easygoing, and nonoffending manner while being accepted by all. That disappointment can now become a burden of the past.

Simplifying a wish to become that admired person is referred to here as "getting your act together." That's what we do in this book.
