The Burning City

Ephraim, a young man from a small fishing village, embarks on a journey to overcome an immortal beast that emerges from the sea every century to begin a terrible march of death across the civilizations of the earth. Along the way Ephraim is caught between vying nations rife with with political espionage and betrayal, while being joined by a retired historian, a duty bound soldier and a young woman with the power to manipulate the very elements of the earth. Together they face scorching deserts, relentless hunters, strange creatures and secret orders as they unravel a conspiracy that spans centuries and whose truths will change the world.
