Dr. Brown is a retired pediatrician who practiced more than 40 years before onset of ALS in 2011. A native Ohioan, he grew up in Toledo, graduated from the University of Cincinnati Col³ege of Medicine and practiced primarily in Bowling Green and Lake County. He is the father of three young adults. He was an avid cyclist, ballplayer, actor, singer and gardener before his illness. He continues reading and writing but little arithmetic. This is his third book, the second of poetry. He lives in Berea,OH.
