Into the Dark Night, Falling

France is occupied, the Nazis in control. One young woman, Dominique, is fighting to free her homeland, helping downed fliers to escape. She meets an Australian bomber pilot, Jack. Together, they join the resistance to fight the Germans. They become lovers, soul mates, until Jack is taken from her by the Nazis. She is carrying his child, but Jack will never know. After the war, his daughter begins to seek the truth about the father she had never known, in the process finding a family and a love of her own.
