WHEN CHRISTMAS CAME TO KILCARRIG

For Malachi OByrne and his friends Christmas meant giving. Giving food to Malachi OByrnes needy neighbors; sending greetings to their friends; giving thanks for their Christmas dinner and for everything God had given them. Then they found that this year would be different. This year deep in the woods in a church in the village of Kilcarrig, they would find the Christ Child in a crib. This year more than ever, they would realize that Christmas wasnt for the leprechauns, their neighbors or their friends. Christmas was for the Christ Child. It was His birthday. He offered Love and Hope. All He asked was Love and Trust.
